Terms of Service
Last updated: May 12, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using doc0 (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
doc0 is a code context platform that generates documentation and an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server from GitHub repositories. The Service includes documentation generation, MCP server hosting, AI chat, and related features.
3. Account & Access
You must authenticate via GitHub to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your GitHub account and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Your Content
You retain all rights to your source code and repository content. doc0 processes your code to generate documentation and an MCP server for your codebase; generated content is processed by AI sub-processors as described in our Privacy Policy. Source code is never stored - only the generated documentation and metadata (file paths, content hashes) are persisted.
You grant doc0 a limited license to access, clone, and analyze your repository content for the purpose of generating documentation. This license terminates when you delete your project or account.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to generate documentation for repositories you do not own or have authorization to access, attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the Service, or use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws.
6. Subscription & Billing
Some features require a paid subscription. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice; existing subscribers will continue at their current rate for at least 12 months from the date of any price change. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
7. AI-Generated Content
Documentation generated by doc0 is produced by AI models and may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying generated content before relying on it. doc0 is not liable for errors in AI-generated documentation.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. doc0 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings, which will remove all associated data.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
